Review: The Radiance Line from Stages of Beauty

I was sent four items from The Radiance Line from Stages of Beauty to try out.

Instead of sending me a press release, I was sent a BOOKLET of information (which does make sense, since they have 3 or 4 lines of products).

About the Company, Stages of Beauty:
“Stages of Beauty was created by a woman with a degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering from MIT. Passionate about skincare but disappointed with so many of the products she had tried, she began researching the skin in depth and the changes it undergoes throughout our lives.

Recognizing that age is the most important determinant of our skin’s needs, she discovered the specific biological changes that occur at each age and the right ingredients to fight those changes. Anti-aging skincare products must consider that women are fighting against more than just wrinkles! Many other changes are occurring, like increased sun sensitivity (triggering sun spots and spider veins), dulling complexion, and thinning and thirsty skin – just to name a few. Unable to find a skincare brand that considered the age of its customers with this detail, she decided to create her own.

The result is Stages of Beauty: the first anti-aging skincare brand focused on fulfilling all the changing needs of a woman’s skin throughout her life. At every age, Stages of Beauty is committed to keeping our skin looking as young and beautiful as possible.

At Stages of Beauty, we believe that there is beauty in every stage of life. Now, we can preserve the quality of our skin and give it everything it needs to stay healthy and radiant at every stage!”

Stages of Beauty has 4 lines of products: Radiance (20’s), Harmony (30’s), Elegance (40’s) and Grace (50+). I was contacted and given my choice of line. I chose Radiance (since I’m 19, I figured it would be the best choice).

They say: “Each of our anti-aging product lines is formulated with all your specific needs in mind. We have chosen the finest natural ingredients to create products that ensure your skin gets the absolute best it deserves.”

Stages of Beauty is formulated without: sulfates, synthetic dyes, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, & GMOs.
Stages of Beauty is: dermatologist-tested, 100% fragrance free, formulated for sensitive skin and not tested on animals.

I’m going to talk in-depth about the Radiance line, then give a bit of information on the other three lines:

The Radiance line is described as: “In our 20s, constant exposure to the sun and our hectic lifestyles can lead to discoloration, free radical damage, puffiness, and dullness. In our 20s, our main priority is to protect our skin and help it repair daily damage.”

It comes with:

The Radiance Treatment Cream

The booklet says: “The must-have cornerstone of our Radiance line. This lightweight cream is the 24/7 damage control skincare choice for the woman in her 20’s. High in antioxidants, this ultra-repairing cream ensures your skin is always glowing and radiant. With continued use it is proven to help repair the skin and prevent the premature appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”

Key Ingredients:
* Resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant that protects our skin from damage and they fine lines while helping preserve a youthful glow.
* Apple Stem Cell Botanical Extract, a natural stem cell extract that works to repair and rejuvenate our skin to help prevent the appearance of chronic skin aging.
* Sea Botanicals & Amino Acids both work to protect against free radicals, while calming, soothing, and stimulating repair of the skin.

The Radiance Cleanser –

The booklet says: “Wash away the day’s damage with the purifying and restoring formula. Activate skin detoxification enzymes and fight daily pollutants, while brightening the skin with powerful antioxidants.”

The Radiance Scrub –

The booklet says: “Scrub away the harmful effects of the day with the jojoba, pomegranate, and bamboo. With each scrub you’re repairing damage for softer, smoother and more radiant skin.”

Products in the line that I didn’t receive:
The Radiance Renewal Serum
The Radiance Supplement

I did, however, also receive:

“”

The Radiance Balancing Toner

This is a great brand, and all the other lines come with the same products, but each with different formulas.
