Unboxing: Influenster Summer Beauty VoxBox 2012

I was so excited when I got the e-mail stating that I had been selected to receive the Influenster Summer Beauty VoxBox 2012.

This is the card that came with the box explaining all the products, but I’ll get to all of that later, let’s get on to all the great products now! :)

Product #1: Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30, $8.99 for 6OZ bottle, Available in SPF 12, 30, and 50.

The Card says: “With its ultra-luxurious hydrating silk ribbons, Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration lotion sunscreen nourishes and pampers skin while providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and 12-hour moisturization when out in the sun.”

First Impressions: I have WAY too much sunscreen, so I’m kinda eh about this product. I do like the concept, a sunscreen that is also a lotion. I’m sure this will get plenty of use out by the pool this summer! :D

Product #2: Tampax and Always Radiant Collection, prices vary per box.

The Card says: “Tampax and Always have come together to premiere the all-new, stylish Radiant Collection, a complete offering of premium tampons, pads, liners and wipes that meets all of a woman’s feminine care needs. With designer packaging and wrappers, these products are must-have accessories for that time of the month.”

First Impressions: I actually received this as a sample set in a free sample promotion. I do think it’s a nice sentiment, but mine was missing a few pieces from this set. It (is supposed to, anyways) come with 1 purse/bag, 1 scented pad, 3 unscented daily liners, and 2 unscented tampons. I received the bag, 1 tampon, 1 liner and 1 pad, so I don’t really know what that’s about, but oh well. No complaints here:)

Product #3: Quaker Soft Baked Bar in Banana Nut Bread, $3.29 for package of bars.

The Card says: “Made with real bananas and almonds, Quaker Soft Bars in Banana Nut Bread flavor have tasty ingredients to help provide fuel to start your day. 5g Fiber, 20% of daily valye of 5 B Vitamins and 6g of protein!”

First Impressions: I’m not a huge fan of bananas or nuts, and while this does look good, Kylor will probably get the joy of eating this one :D

Product #4: Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color, $9.99.

The Card says: “NEW! Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color is summer’s hottest nail trend that allows you to create a gorgeous 3-D nail art effect in just seconds! This unique formula was specially developed with metallic particles – just hold the built-in magnet over wet polish to reveal a unique design on the nail.”

First Impressions: I received this in the color 903 Silver Elements. Believe it or not, this is actually my first magnetic nail polish.  I know, right? Talk about behind on the trends. I do like the color, and I have swatched it on a nail wheel, and it does look really cute, especially with the magnetic design. I am definitely excited to use this for my next manicure:)

Product #5: Sally Hansen Nails and Cuticles Hand Creme, $5.99 for full size bottle

The Card says: “Made with shea butter, the Sally Hansen Nails & Cuticle Creme softens hands, smooths cuticles and conditions nails. Active Moisture Complex formula with Ceramides helps to lock in nutrients so hands maintain their ideal moisture level. Offers 24 hour moisture and lasts through hand washings!”

First Impressions: I haven’t tried this one yet, but I do have some similar products that I do enjoy. I love the Sally Hansen brand, and I do like their hand creams and such, so I am excited to try this one out and tell you guys what I think:D

Product #6: Clear Scalp & Hair Beauty Therapy, $4.99-$5.99 for 12.7 OZ and 12.9 OZ bottles.

The Card says: “Did you know 99% of hair’s natural strength comes from the scalp? Introducing CLEAR SCALP & HAIR BEAUTY THERAPY, a new line of shampoos and conditioners that nourish the scalp, and create the right foundation for strong, beautiful hair from root to tip. Wash your way to stronger hair in just 7 days!”

First Impressions: I actually have some of this in various sizes that I have received from various places and promotions. I have tried it, and I do really like it. My hair does feel a lot stronger, and I do think that this plays a major part in it. I am excited to use these bottles, as well:)

Did you guys receive this? What do you think of the products inside?
