Product Spotlight: Mally Evercolor Lasting Lip Color & Gloss in Summer Nude

This is the Mally Evercolor Lasting Lip Color & Gloss in Summer Nude.

The website says: “One of the things I love most about my life is being able to hang out with you and share all of my secrets with you! I feel so blessed that God has allowed me to come in to your lives even in the smallest way to maybe give you just a little more info, to help you look and feel even more gorgeous than you already are! One day, my Daddy showed up at my house with a bunch of old audio cassettes of when i was a very little girl. “You have to hear this!” he said. “You have ALWAYS been a talker!” Sure enough, we played them and ooohhh boy! Could i flap my gums or what?! And let’s just be honest… some things never change!!! My point is… with my big ’ol mouth, i sure needed a long wearing lipstick that not only looked AMAZING, but lasted for, like, eva!!!!!! I am so happy that you are have the Evercolor Lipcolor and Gloss in your hands! This amazing lip color has a technology very similar to our Evercolor Shadow Sticks that you know and love but specially customized for your precious lips. First, apply the gorgeous lip color. Give the color a few seconds to set and then go ahead and add the super high shine Diamond Gloss on top… SUPER sexy high shine and all day wear…what else do you need?!?!

– This set comes with two products, a lipcolor and a crystal clear gloss.

– The Crystal Clear gloss

– The lipcolor in Summer Nude

First Impressions: I don’t typically enjoy lipcolors that you’re supposed to put a coat of clear lip gloss over, or like the Covergirl Outlast colors that come with the moisturizing topcoat. It always stains the clear product with the color of the lipcolor you’re supposed to use with it, and that just makes it look dirty to me. .  .

Packaging: I think that Mally packaging is pretty plain. It’s simple and there’s no real design or eye-catching details. This product comes in a yellow box that houses both lip products. The lipcolor reminds me of the packaging of the Tarte EmphasEYE Clay Shadow Sticks. I do like the little strip of what looks like snake skin on the crystal clear gloss, though:)

Scent: This doesn’t really have too strong of a scent.

Color/Pigmentation: This was a much darker color than I would expect for nude. It was more of a dark, plum-y red color. And the crystal clear gloss was of course, clear.

Staying Power: This did last about 3-4 hours, even with drinking, so I was very impressed! I have other Mally lipcolors, and they are all great staying power-wise.

Details On Mine: Mine was a PR Sample (though that in no way alters my opinion or this review). This is the full-size product.

Price/Availability: This is available here for $25.00 USD.

Other Shades: Perfect Rose, Summer Nude, Soft Berry, Pink Shimmer, Modern Mauve.
